On a Different Note.......
Colored Denim
Recently in the states, a trend that is becoming very popular is Colored denim and I'm curious as to whether it is also fairly popular in Italy? What do you guys think of these new colored denim jeans!
I'm trying to go to med school in Italy.. we'll see how it all works out! Crossing my fingers as we speak!!
It's funny you mention colored jeans because I kind of love them.. eheh. In Italy white jeans are really popular! I haven't visited since this past May so I don't know if colored jeans are there yet, but they LOVE white jeans!!
I haven't really seen them in rome, but I really hate Italian fashion (I am more of a skater chick/comfort person) and try not to look at the stuff some people wear, yikes. I could totally see it taking off though.
As Jessica says - not in Rome. People hate colour here. But like Jessica, I don't like the way people dress here. Very conformist and very "old" ie tons of black, gold jewellery, sparkly stuff and deep tans.
Everyone's always going on about how young I look (I'm 35). I don't actually look that young but I don't tan and I don't wear a lot of black - takes 10 years off, I swear. :)
